By booking a service with Active AC, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

  1. Service Booking & Charges

A booking/visit charge of ₹ 200 is applicable for technician visits, even if the service is not availed.

The visit charge will be adjusted in the final bill if you proceed with the service.

  1. 90-Day Work Guarantee

We provide a 90-day guarantee on:

✅ AC repairs performed by our technicians.

✅ Leak fixes (if we repaired a leak, we guarantee no leakage for 90 days).

✅ Component replacements (if done by us).

🔹 This guarantee does not cover:

❌ Issues caused by mishandling, improper use, or external factors.

❌ Gas refilling (as leaks can occur due to other factors beyond our control).

❌ Any third-party repairs after our service.

  1. Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel a booking before the technician is dispatched, you will receive a full refund.

If the technician has already visited, the booking/visit charge is non-refundable.

  1. Liability Limitations

Active AC is not responsible for:

Any pre-existing damage to your AC unit.

Electrical issues or faults outside of the AC system.

Damage caused by third-party tampering after our repair.

The 90-day guarantee applies only to the specific repairs, leak fixes, or part replacements we perform. It does not cover general wear and tear.

5.  Disclaimer & Service Guarantee

Active AC is committed to delivering professional air conditioning repair and maintenance services for both residential and commercial clients across Delhi. Please carefully read the following disclaimer that outlines our guarantee coverage and important exclusions.

Coverage Under Our Guarantee

  • The guarantee applies only to repairs and maintenance performed by Active AC, and covers defects in workmanship and parts supplied by us for a period as specified in your service invoice.

  • Our guarantee is valid only for equipment that has been maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and is in a serviceable condition at the time of our visit.

  • The guarantee covers AC units installed in standard residential and commercial premises, subject to regular operating environments.

  • Service calls for preventive maintenance are governed by the terms outlined in your contract or invoice; unscheduled/emergency visits may incur additional charges15.

What Our Guarantee Does Not Cover

The following are explicitly excluded from our guarantee:

  • Any damage, malfunction, inefficiency, or failures resulting from installation or operation in locations near or above open drains, sewers, gutters, or other sources of excessive moisture/contaminants.

  • Equipment situated in industrial areas or environments involving the use or storage of hazardous chemicals, corrosive fumes, or dust (e.g., near chemical factories, processing plants, workshops, and similar facilities).

  • AC units installed in areas with excessive exposure to weather, flooding, pollution, or direct proximity to construction debris and dust.

  • Breakdowns caused by improper handling, unauthorized third-party repairs, electrical spikes or power surges, fire, water logging, vandalism, accidental damage, acts of God (natural disasters), or any external causes beyond Active AC’s reasonable control13.

  • Issues arising due to lack of periodic maintenance, cleaning, or care as per manufacturer guidelines, or operation beyond recommended temperature settings3.

  • Air leaks related to structural deficiencies outside the air conditioning system, including but not limited to defective building ducts, doors, windows, or insulation3.

  • Any repairs or replacement required due to normal wear and tear, consumable items (like filters), or cosmetic damage not affecting AC performance25.

  • Water leakage, blockage, freezing, or malfunction of external condensate or drain lines outside the unit3.

Additional Terms

  • Warranty is void if equipment has been serviced, repaired, or moved by parties other than Active AC technicians.

  • Clients must ensure reasonable and safe access to the AC equipment for our technicians at appointed service times. Additional charges may apply for inaccessible or hazardous locations5.

  • Our services do not cover repairs caused by contamination from industrial byproducts or operation in violation of local safety codes.

  • All service and guarantee obligations are contingent upon full and timely payment for services rendered.
